The last 2 years we attended Bike Week at Myrtle Beach, we camped out instead renting a motel room. Lakewood campground offers all the amenities campers are accustomed to . They are friendly and welcome bikers to their campground. There is a store on the premises and they also serve sandwiches and other food just in case you don't feel like fighting the crowd to find something to eat. The 69th Annual Harley-Davidson Bike Rally If you welcomed spring and said good-bye to winter in past years by participating in Myrtle Beach’s annual Spring Harley-Davidson Rally, don’t despair! The Rally will still be held and Lakewood Camping Resort will once again welcome bikers and their families to the beach during Bike Week, May 8-17. Lakewood is the only biker-friendly campground on the Grand Strand that allows you to ride your bike to your campsite or villa. Lakewood Camping Resort will be the center of the excitement for the entire 10 days with Murrells Inlet, the Surfside Harley-Davidson location and the popular bike thoroughfares of Highways 544 and 31, conveniently located just a short distance away.
Lakewood will offer all bikers a complimentary continental breakfast each morning from 8:00 a.m. - 9:00 a.m. during the week of May 11-15 at Uncle Carl's Cabin located next to Perry Lake.
Lakewood will host vendors at the 7,800 square-foot Lakewood Conference Center, including Biker Designs and Good Sports; Mustang Seats; Motor Tour Conversion; Competition Leather; Dayton Air Brush, Soft Bottoms; Jack & Molleys; Iron Blast; ASAP Signs; and A&R.
